Bodendruck Switzerland — UV Direct Printing on Concrete, Screed, and Tiles
Photorealistic floor designs with visible 3D depth—printed directly onto existing floors, UV-cured, scratch-resistant. For indoor and outdoor use. Available starting in summer 2026.
Ground pressure — what does that actually mean?
Floor printing is the process of directly printing photorealistic designs onto an existing floor surface—without film, vinyl, or stickers. The print is created directly in the material using UV direct printing, is made scratch-resistant by a UV sealant, and is immediately walkable.
When combined with visible 3D depth, the result is an effect that catches the eye: the coral reef appears to lie beneath the ground, the forest clearing is bathed in raking light, and the floor markings gain a sense of depth and legibility that flat stickers lack.
Materials — What We Print On
- Concrete and Screed — typical of a lobby, showroom, or industrial loft
- Tiles and Natural Stone — Spa, Wellness, and Bath Areas
- Wood and Hardwood Flooring — Living space, boutique, restaurant
- Asphalt — Outdoor areas, courtyard, outdoor dining
- Glass — Storefronts, partition walls, atriums
Applications — Where Ground Pressure Makes a Difference
Hospitality and Spa: Floor designs in wellness areas and lobby entrance areas with themed prints. Instead of replaceable carpet runners, a surface that is an integral part of the concept.
Retail and Storefronts: Floor markings for seasonal campaigns, dimensional in-store wayfinding, floor graphics for brand storytelling—all without any leftover film at the end of the campaign.
Gastronomy: Themed floor designs in the restaurant—woodland scene, water, map of the country. Applied directly to the existing floor; the floor is immediately walkable again.
Education and Daycare: Hopscotch, learning areas, play areas — scratch-resistant, washable, and safe for children thanks to odorless UV inks.
Architecture and Industry: Safety markings, directional signage, facility signage — UV-resistant, visible even under oblique light.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ground Pressure Switzerland
What types of flooring materials can be printed on?
UV direct printing works on concrete, screed, tiles, natural stone, wood, parquet, and asphalt. It can also be used on glass and metal surfaces.
Is the floor covering scratch-resistant and washable?
Yes. After UV curing, an additional sealant makes the surface scratch-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and washable with standard cleaners.
What is the service life of floor pressure indoors and outdoors?
Indoors: up to 10 years under normal use. Outdoors with a UV-protective sealant: 3–5 years—depending on UV exposure, frost exposure, and foot traffic.
Can an existing floor be printed on directly?
Yes, provided the surface is stable and clean. The floor remains in place, is prepared on site, and printed directly—no dismantling, no shipping of floor panels.
All images are conceptual renderings. The first real-life reference projects will be available from summer 2026.
